Lonnie and Rhonda Watkins are long standing members of the North Frontenac Community. 

Rhonda studied Business Accounting at Algonquin College and worked for the LCBO before concentrating her energy on the family business. Lonnie represented Ward 2 on the North Frontenac Council for 8 years and he comes from a long line of municipal politicians and employees. His father was the roads superintendent for Clarendon/Miller for 26 years and his mother was the Township bookkeeper for 29 years. Lonnie's grandfather sat on council for 29 years and his great-great grandfather, Bramwell Watkins, was the original Reeve of the former township.

Lonnie Watkins Tree Service is a family business with Lonnie's wife Rhonda, his brother Rodney and cousin Kirby all involved.
